The course is very affordable with very good customer service with one of the original developers of the course working in the bar and providing service to the pro shop. The pro shop has a wide variety of golf products at affordable prices. The clubhouse is limited to bar service with a friendly golf atmosphere that welcomes golfers not only to play the course but to gather with friends.
Several holes have blind tee shots and it pays to drive down the fairway to get a general view of the hole. It's a hilly course but is walkable, although carts are suggested. A sign in each cart indicates that golfers must stay 30 feet away from greens because these areas are not signed. In some cases, there are limited cart paths or none at all. It is important to keep the ball in the fairway and not wander into adjacent woods as they are thick and it is nearly impossible to find a golf ball after an off-target shot. Playing from the back tees is just over 6,000 yards. The tee boxes need some work to remove unnecessary weeds that have taken over. This is also the case with many of the course's fairways.
More signage would be helpful to provide directions to holes and distances. On some of the holes, there is significant distance between the white and blue (back) tees. There is also no beverage service on the golf course. Beverages and friendly service, however, are available to patrons in the clubhouse.
People are friendly and helpful to persons who have never played the course before. The course was built by a family whose goal is stated as being, "Making a family friendly, yet challenging, course for all skill levels of golfers." In that sense they succeeded.
