As mentioned in the other review, unless you've been here before the clubhouse location is a little deceiving. Honestly, just look for the bag drop (drive around until you find it) and the putting green. Carts are included in your green fee on the Falls. Walking is NOT recommended.
This course is challenging yet fun, with a few blind shots and narrow fairways. The #8 hole is the only natural island green in the state of Wisconsin! (Amazing how many courses in Wisconsin have such a "one-of-a-kind" feature.) Don't be fooled by how easy it looks. Many a golfer has lost his balls in the cold water. Then you get to the uphill #9. Man up (or woman up) and bring out a big drive (if you have one) and hit it as far as you can. The hill will otherwise stop you quickly. Use caution on #11, as your drive is very likely to end up where ours did... in the creek about 215 yards out. Play it safe and club down or suck it up and launch one.
There are many challenging holes for the intermediate golfer, but it's very playable. The tee boxes are in need of some repair on this course as well. Management does seem to be very hands on though, so we believe that will be addressed. Narrow side-by-side fairways do lead to playing from the wrong fairway which can cause delays. "Fore" was a redundant echo throughout the round. But then so was "Eight."
The distances on the holes can be deceiving, trust the GPS and "pro-tips" in the carts. The GPS system is nice, but then so are complimentary flat screen TV's and pictures of kittens. There's nothing wrong with using the paper scorecard. It's not bowling. Anyone has the potential to keep score.
Setting up a tee time with the course was easy. This course is busy and does backup the further in you get in the round. GPS does track your time though which is handy. You can contact the Pro shop from the computer to alert them of slow play/issues and/or to place food orders for the turn.
The beverage cart rotations and restroom locations seemed perfectly spaced and adequate. Even for newborns with small bladders. In case you were going to ask.
