Lake Panorama has a good sized practice range with distance markers, a putting green, practice bunker and chipping facilities available. The clubhouse has a full service bar and restaurant. The clubhouse is quite a distance from the #1 and #10 holes. The pro shop has a good assortment of golf products at reasonable prices. There is a snack bar at the turn that has a nice assortment of food and refreshments to satisfy your needs. The course can be easily walked with no big hills. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The course has generous fairways with mature trees on every hole . There are two levels of rough that can be challenging but can still be played out of. The tee boxes are level and close to the excellent cart path system. The 12-15 sand traps that surround mostly the greens have good quality sand. The course does not have GPS systems on the carts but does have stakes marking the various distances to the green. The one drawback was that most of the tee box maps were located on the back tees. The greens held well but were challenging with plenty of contour. The speed of the greens was consistent. Colored flags on the greens to show the hole placement was a very nice touch. Ball washers and trash containers were on all holes. There were several restrooms on the course. There were few hazards on the course but with four tee boxes it will challenge any level golfer.
One of the highlights of this course are the #5 and #12 signature holes. Both of the holes are over water with fountains. On the #5 par four you will need to make good shots of decent distance over water to get your par. The #12 is a par three, again over water, that plays longer than it looks.
Lake Panorama is a well maintained, challenging golf course with great signature holes that will make the drive worthwhile.
