Overall this course is in immaculate shape. The tee boxes are clean and have very few divots. Fairways are in excellent shape and are taken care of like a championship course. The greens are very quick and the bunkers are filled with soft sand that is easy to hit from. Bunkers and water hazards are plentiful and challenging, and both can come into play often. Practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green, the latter of which rolls really fast, making it difficult to hold your chips on the green if you aren't careful, but it's good practice for what the greens are like on the course.
GPS systems, standard with every cart, show the pin placements and where other golfers are located on the course. You can also order food from the GPS so it is ready when you get back to the clubhouse. The signature hole, if you have to pick one, would probably be #5. It requires a long uphill tee shot that requires avoiding a tree on the left side of the fairway, and the green is protected by three bunkers and a marsh area.
The clubhouse has a nice dining area along with a full-service bar and restaurant. The pro shop and clubhouse are located in the same building. The beverage carts on the course come around often, and they have a good selection of food and drinks.
Our overall impression of this course is that it is one of the nicest and most enjoyable experiences that we have had on a golf course. The course was in immaculate shape and the staff was friendly and always willing to help or answer any questions you have.
