This is the premeir public course in Rockford. At $40-45 for green fees and a cart, this is one of the most affordable courses in Northern Illinois for the quality of the course. It has beautiful bent grass fairways and greens. The greens are always in excellent condition.

They have held multiple statewide tournaments here ranging from the 2001 Illinois State Amateur Championship
2013 Illinois State Amateur Championship (future)
2014 US Open Sectional Quailfier (future)

The layout is fairly crammed because of the amount of land that it lays on so many holes are close to each other.

The practice facility is one of the best in Northern Illinois.

I would recommend playing here if you are in the area.
